I'm not a massive fan of smoothie bowls at the moment to be honest - (i'm always changing my favourites, so who knows - the bowls might be up there soon!). I typically venture towards more savoury foods than sweet and i'll typically grab a handful of fresh fruit rather than have it in a smoothie. But i'm not one to knock something until I've tried it! I must admit, it was yum but it's just probably not high on my go to list! :)
Quantities aren't exact but here's a run down of what I popped in it!
- Frozen banana (handful)
- Frozen and fresh mixed berries (handful)
- Acai powder (1 tablespoon)
- Almond milk (a splash - I probably added a bit too much this time around!)
I topped my bowl with coconut flakes, cacao nibs and fresh berries!
